Description
Considered to be one of the rarest Dunks of all time, the eBay x Nike SB Dunk Low is suggested to make a return this year but with a twist, according to sources. The style was first introduced back in 2003 with only three pairs to hit production – one sold at auction for $26,000, followed by the second pair sliced into pieces, and the last gifted to the late Sandy Bodecker in 2008 who was instrumental in the sportswear giant’s SB and football divisions as a retirement gift. As suggested, the color scheme derives from eBay’s signature colors and incorporates “clear” stripes across the sole and side panels to symbolize the areas where the original eBay x Nike Dunk Low sample was sliced. Additionally, the heel panels incorporate the traditional SB branding instead of the exclusive eBay logo.
