Description
Nike’s annual Air Max Day celebration has led to a re-issue of an acclaimed Air Max shoe of the past. Marking this year’s “retro” is the Air Max 93 in the original “Dusty Cactus” colorway from 1993, a shoe that had not released since 2014. This model, designed by none other than Tinker Hatfield, debuted the first-ever Air Max unit that wrapped around the heel and was also referred to as the Air Max 270 for its three-quarter coverage of Air. Of course that name has been applied to the brand new lifestyle sneaker that we recently examined in several colorways.
