Description
As the end of January inches closer, the modified version of Peter Moore’s made-for-basketball silhouette has emerged in an “Ochre” and “Midnight Navy” color combination, and sude and canvas upper. At quick glance, the choice in materials are seemingly a simple break from the Nike Dunk‘s popular use of leather, but closer inspection of the sock-liners suggest otherwise. Traditional “Nike SB” branding is replaced with an illustration of a road traffic barrier having an all-purpose putty poured over its openings. The suede and canvas, then, plays into the “do-it-yourself” inspiration behind the shoe. Elsewhere, pull tabs on the top of the tongue and stash pockets on the tongues underside deliver a utilitarian modification to the Nike SB Dunk Low. The sole units underfoot opt for a tonal off white look that allow for the upper to revel in the spotlight.
